Abstract[English]
An irrigation system is disclosed. The system comprises a housing comprising a reservoir for containing an irrigation liquid; a tubing providing fluid communication between the reservoir and a catheter for use with the irrigation system; a pump for facilitating a flow of irrigation liquid from the reservoir, through the tubing, to the catheter; and a control unit comprising a processor in communication with the pump; a capacitive sensor in communication with the processor and configured to measure one or more capacitive characteristics of a fluid in the tubing. The processor is configured to control the irrigation procedure in accordance with the one or more capacitive characteristics of the fluid in the tubing. Un système d'irrigation est divulgué.
