Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Bremstrommel (26), eine Trommelbremse (20) sowie ein Betriebsverfahren (100) für eine Trommelbremse (20). Die Bremstrommel (26) weist eine Bremsfläche (36) auf, gegen die bei einem Bremsvorgang wenigstens eine gegenüber der Bremstrommel (26) drehbewegliche Bremsbacke (22) der Trommelbremse (20) radial drückt. Zweckmäßigerweise ist ein Schmiermittelreservoir (40) zur Abgabe von Schmiermittel an die Bremsfläche (36) bei dem Bremsvorgang vorgesehen.[English]
