Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Erzeugen einer Informationsnachricht (18, 20, 22) für einen Nutzer eines Kraftfahrzeugs (10), mit den Schritten: Bereitstellen von Messdaten (32) im Kraftfahrzeug (10) mittels einer ersten elektronischen Recheneinrichtung (26); Übertragen der Messdaten (32) an eine kraftfahrzeugexterne, zweite elektronische Recheneinrichtung (36); Empfangen der Messdaten (32) mittels der zweiten elektronischen Recheneinrichtung (36); Auswerten der Messdaten (32) und wenn die Messdaten (32) einen vorgegebenen Grenzwert überschreiten, dann Erzeugen einer Informationsnachricht (18, 20, 22); Übertragen der Informationsnachricht (18, 20, 22) an die erste elektronische Recheneinrichtung (26); Empfangen der Informationsnachricht (18, 20, 22) mittels der ersten elektronischen Recheneinrichtung (26); und Anzeigen der Informationsnachricht (18, 20, 22) für den Nutzer des Kraftfahrzeugs (10) auf einer Anzeigeeinrichtung (24) des Kraftfahrzeugs (10).
