Um eine möglichst unaufwändige Bauform für einen Steckverbinder anzugeben, mit dem die Kontaktierung mehrerer elektrischer Leitungen (5) durch mehrere Schneidklemmen (45) des Steckverbinders in einem einzigen Bewegungsablauf ermöglicht ist, wird Folgendes vorgeschlagen: Ein Steckverbinder besitzt einen Kontaktträger, der zwei separate Teile aufweist, nämlich ein Kontaktträgergehäuse (1 ) und einen Kontakteinsatz (2). Der Kontakteinsatz (2) ist in das Kontaktträgergehäuse (1 ) einschiebbar. Im nicht eingeschobenen Zustand ragen die Anschlussbereiche (42) einzelner Steckkontakte (4) aus dem Kontakteinsatz (2) heraus, treten beim Einschieben mit der Außenwand (12) des Kontaktträgergehäuses (1) in mechanischen Kontakt und werden dadurch in den Kontakteinsatz (2) hineingebogen, um mit ihren Schneidklemmen (45) die Isolierung (50) einer anschlussseitig in die Kontaktkammer eingeführte Ader (5) eines an den Steckverbinder anzuschließenden elektrischen Kabels (500) zu durchtrennen und die jeweilige Ader (5) elektrisch zu kontaktieren.[English]
