Die Anzeigevorrichtung (1) weist ein Gehäuse (2), ein Anzeigepaneel (3), eine Hintergrundbeleuchtung (4) für das Anzeigepaneel (3) und einen Wärmeableiter (5) auf. Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung (4) weist einen flächigen Lichtleiter (40) mit zwei an gegenüberliegenden Seiten angeordneten seitlichen Einkoppelbereichen (400) und zwei angrenzend an die Einkoppelbereiche (400) angeordnete Lichtquellenanordnungen (41) auf. Der Wärmeableiter (5) ist eingerichtet, Wärme der beiden Lichtquellenanordnungen (41) in einem Teilbereich (20) des Gehäuses (2) aus dem Gehäuse (2) abzuleiten.[English]
