Disclosed in the present application are an encoding-based transmission method and apparatus used for wireless communication. The method comprises: a communication node receiving first signaling, and sending a first PDU of a first protocol layer, wherein the first PDU of the first protocol layer is transmitted on a first logical channel; the first PDU of the first protocol layer comprises an output of a first encoder, and an input of the first encoder comprises a first data block of the first protocol layer; the size of the first data block of the first protocol layer depends on a first encoding parameter; and the first signaling indicates the first encoding parameter, and the first encoding parameter is associated with the first logical channel. The solution provided in the present application facilitates compatibility with existing protocols, improves the end-to-end transmission performance, and simplifies the complexity of a first node.[French]
