The present application discloses an applicable functionality determination method and device used in a node for wireless communication. A first node sends a first information block, wherein the first information block is used to indicate N1 applicable functionalities of the first node from among N functionalities, N is a positive integer greater than 1, and N1 is a positive integer not greater than N; any one of the N functionalities corresponds to one index; and whether one of the N functionalities is the applicable functionality of the first node depends on the index corresponding to the functionality. The method can better adapt to various functionalities, application scenarios, or terminals, and has high flexibility and strong adaptability.[French]
