The present application discloses an automatic lawn mower, comprising: a machine body, a positioning sensor, a first detection element, a cutting part, a motion adjusting part, and a controller. At least in response to recognizing that a user is present on the automatic lawn mower, the automatic lawn mower is controlled to enter a manual mode. The automatic lawn mower comprises two operation modes: a manual mode and an automatic mode. In the manual mode, the automatic lawn mower travels according to a driving direction or a driving speed inputted by a user; and in the automatic mode, the automatic mower is controlled, at least on the basis of position information, to automatically travel along a planned path. Therefore, the operation mode of the automatic lawn mower can be automatically controlled.[French]
