Abstract[English] A method for an access point to schedule obtaining frames from stations connected thereto is provided. Real-time applications provide frames and frame due dates to the stations. The frames and their due dates are stored in respective buffers of the stations. Each station identifies the earliest due date of all its buffered frames and provides the earliest due date to the access point. The access point orders the due dates and schedules the stations according to the order of the due dates. The access point then communicates with the stations according to the schedule and obtains the frames. A WLAN system implementing the method is also provided.[French] L'invention concerne un procédé permettant à un point d'accès d'ordonnancer l'obtention de trames provenant de stations connectées à celui-ci. Des applications en temps réel fournissent des trames et des dates d'échéance de trames aux stations. Les trames et leurs dates d'échéance sont stockées dans des mémoires tampons respectives des stations. Chaque station identifie la date d'échéance la plus proche de toutes ses trames mises en mémoire tampon et fournit la date d'échéance la plus proche au point d'accès. Le point d'accès ordonne les dates d'échéance et ordonnance les stations selon l'ordre des dates d'échéance. Le point d'accès communique ensuite avec les stations selon l'ordonnancement et obtient les trames. L’invention concerne également un système WLAN mettant en œuvre le procédé.
