Abstract[English]
A method and a system for rendering a 3D scene on a screen of a client device. The method comprising: in response to a rendering request to the client device to render a given 3D scene, the given 3D scene including a plurality of objects: identifying, an object of interest in the given 3D scene; transmitting data representative of the object of interest to the cloud server for determining, for the object of interest, light information associated therewith; transmitting the light information to the client device; receiving, from the cloud server, the light information associated with the object of interest; and rendering on the screen of the client device, an image of the given 3D scene, by: in response to a given pixel of the image being representative of the object of interest in the given 3D scene, shading the given pixel in accordance with the light information.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de rendu d'une scène 3D sur un écran d'un dispositif client. Le procédé consiste à : en réponse à une demande de rendu au dispositif client pour rendre une scène 3D donnée, la scène 3D donnée comprenant une pluralité d'objets : identifier un objet d'intérêt dans la scène 3D donnée ; transmettre des données représentatives de l'objet d'intérêt au serveur en nuage pour déterminer, pour l'objet d'intérêt, des informations de lumière associées à celui-ci ; transmettre les informations de lumière au dispositif client ; recevoir, en provenance du serveur en nuage, des informations de lumière associées à l'objet d'intérêt ; et rendre sur l'écran du dispositif client, une image de la scène 3D donnée, par : en réponse à un pixel donné de l'image représentant l'objet d'intérêt dans la scène 3D donnée, ombrage du pixel donné conformément aux informations de lumière.
