Abstract[English]
Aspects of the present disclosure provide an over-the-air (OTA) interferometer that enables redirecting, by a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) to a destination, a signal that impinges the RIS at each of a plurality of time slots, thereby modulating the signal. The RIS is virtually divided into a plurality of RIS portions. In each time slot, phase components to be applied to the plurality of RIS portions are determined based on one or more phase values. The phase values may include an underlying phase related to redirecting a source signal, an additional phase related to data that an input operatively connected to the RIS aims to transmit to the destination by modulating the signal being redirected, and/or a further phase related to interference patterns that can help extract the data phase at the destination. The destination may demodulate the received signals based on the signal strength measurements.[French]
Selon des aspects, la présente invention concerne un interféromètre en liaison radio (OTA) qui permet de rediriger, par une surface intelligente reconfigurable (RIS), vers une destination, un signal incident sur la RIS dans chaque créneau temporel d'une pluralité de créneaux temporels, d'où une modulation du signal. La RIS est virtuellement divisée en une pluralité de parties de RIS. Dans chaque créneau temporel, des composantes de phase à appliquer à la pluralité de parties de RIS sont déterminées sur la base d'une ou de plusieurs valeurs de phase. Les valeurs de phase peuvent comprendre une phase sous-jacente relative à la redirection d'un signal source, une phase supplémentaire relative à des données qu'une entrée connectée fonctionnellement à la RIS vise à transmettre à la destination par modulation du signal redirigé, et/ou une autre phase relative à des diagrammes d'interférence qui peuvent aider à extraire la phase de données au niveau de la destination. La destination peut démoduler les signaux reçus sur la base des mesures d'intensité de signal.
