Abstract[English]
A method and apparatus for calculating and representing individual currency indexes to assist foreign exchange traders and analysts. For a configured basket of currencies and quoted price movements for the associated currency pairs, individual currency indexes express the relative influence of each separate currency on the price movements. Indexes are calculated by considering the basket of currencies as a whole, resulting in a cohesive, consistent set of values. Display and storage of the individual currency indexes facilitate visualization and analysis of foreign exchange market influences. This provides traders with an enhanced view and understanding of the markets.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de calcul et de représentation d'indices de devises individuels pour aider les opérateurs de marché et les analystes des opérations de change. Pour un panier de devises configuré et des fluctuations des cours pour les paires de devises associées, des indices de devises individuels expriment l'influence relative de chaque devise séparée sur les fluctuations des cours. Des indices sont calculés en considérant le panier de devises dans son ensemble, ce qui permet d'obtenir un ensemble de valeurs cohérent et cohésif.
