Abstract[English]
This invention relates to the prognosis, monitoring or diagnosis of cancer patients and of determining the immunological status of a subject. Particularly, the invention relates to a method of whole blood diagnostic test to monitor cancer patients' response to treatment with a medicament for modulating RAR related orphan receptors (RORs) and help predict patient outcomes. The prognosis, monitoring or diagnosis is achieved using a novel analysis method that uses the ratio of total neutrophils versus total lymphocytes in a blood sample before and after treatment with a medicament for modulating RORs.[French]
La présente invention concerne le pronostic, la surveillance ou le diagnostic de patients atteints d'un cancer et la détermination de l'état immunologique d'un sujet. En particulier, l'invention concerne un procédé de test de diagnostic du sang total pour surveiller la réponse des patients atteints d'un cancer à un traitement avec un médicament pour moduler des récepteurs orphelins liés à RAR (RORR) et aider à prédire les résultats du patient. Le pronostic, la surveillance ou le diagnostic sont obtenus à l'aide d'un nouveau procédé d'analyse qui utilise le rapport des neutrophiles totaux par rapport aux lymphocytes totaux dans un échantillon de sang avant et après le traitement avec un médicament pour moduler les ROR.
