The invention relates to a headgear (1) comprising a visor (2) and a device for securing the visor (2) at a distance over the head (3) of a wearer, wherein the securing device includes: - a headband (9) which is worn around the head (3), namely around the forehead (7) and the back of the head (8), in a use position, - a holding arm (10) which is secured to the headband (9) and holds the visor (2), and - a support (11) which, in the use position, is positioned between the visor (2) and the head (3), sits on the head (3), and supports the visor (2).[French]
