Abstract[English]
With the present invention, a deployable solar panel mechanism and a satellite comprising the mentioned mechanism is disclosed. The deployable solar panel mechanism comprises a hinge allowing the solar panel to be connected to the satellite in a way that it can move between an opened position and a closed position; a cord fastening mechanism allowing the solar panel to be fixed to the satellite by connecting it with a burnable cord, spring-loaded pins that provide an information signal that the solar panel is open / closed, an activation circuit that enables the solar panel to be turned opened when desired.[French]
La présente invention concerne un mécanisme de panneau solaire déployable et un satellite comprenant le mécanisme mentionné. Le mécanisme de panneau solaire déployable comprend une charnière permettant au panneau solaire d'être relié au satellite de manière à pouvoir se déplacer entre une position ouverte et une position fermée ; un mécanisme de fixation de cordon permettant au panneau solaire d'être fixé au satellite en le reliant à un cordon pouvant être brûlé, des broches à ressort qui fournissent un signal d'information indiquant que le panneau solaire est ouvert/fermé, un circuit d'activation qui permet au panneau solaire d'être ouvert lorsque souhaité.
