Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Batteriezelle und eine Batteriezelle, wobei das Verfahren die Schritte aufweist: Befüllen (100) einer vorassemblierten Batteriezelle über eine Öffnung eines Gehäuses der Batteriezelle mit einer Elektrolytlösung, wobei in der vorassemblierten Batteriezelle ein Elektrodenstapel aus einer Silizium-basierten Anode, einem Separator und einer Kathode angeordnet ist, und gasdichtes Verschließen (250) der Öffnung der Batteriezelle mittels eines Deckels vor der Ausführung eines Schrittes zur thermischen Alterung (300) der Batteriezelle.[English]
