Edum obtained his bachelors from the university of Ibadan Nigeria.

A graduate of LLM in international law at the Graduate Institute Geneva, he has worked in international organisations including the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the United Nations Economic Community of Europe (UNECE).

He is a PhD fellow in international environmental law at the University of Geneva and visiting-scholar at the Cambridge Centre for Environment, Energy, and Natural Resource Governance.
